2/8-9 The HFAA’s Winter Workshop “Open Hearth" (via Zoom). Are you interested in learning more about Norwegian fiddling and dancing but don’t know where to start? Enjoy two days of hardingfele and dance classes presented by outstanding teachers from Norway and North America, all brought into your home via your computer or phone. The event is completely free and open to all upon registration. See https://www.hfaa.org/
2/14-16 Scandomania (Petaluma, CA, an hour north of San Francisco) The camp will feature dances and music from Telemark, Norway.
2/23/25 Leikarringen at Sons of Norway (Seattle) will have its 65th anniversary, and you are invited. The party will be from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Sons of Norway Lodge, 2245 NW 57th St, Seattle, Washington 98107, in Ballard. This free event will be a celebration that bridges our past, present, and future. The afternoon will include live music from several groups, a dance performance from Leikarringen, and plenty of time for community dancing. RSVP by February 14 to (206) 612-0053.
