  • Mondays (Poulsbo) The Poulsbo Sons of Norway, 18891 Front St  6:30 –8:00 p.m. (PDT). Poulsbo Sammendra Scandinavian Folk Dancers Every Monday.   • Mondays (Portland) Norske Runddansere Scandinavian Folk Dance.  Live Scandinavian dance evenings. More info at www.norskerunddansere.org. 
  • Tuesdays (Seattle) Leikarringen of Leif Erikson Lodge No. 1 meets (Sept–June), 5–7 p.m. at Leif Erikson Lodge #1 Sons of Norway, 2245 NW 57th St., Seattle. Info: (206) 783-1274. First practice of the month is party night.
  • Wednesdays (Vancouver BC)  The Scandinavian Dancers of Vancouver, B.C. will be dancing on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m.. Beginners and experienced dancers welcome. Info: www.vcn.bc.ca/scandi.

6/28–July 5: Nordic Fiddles & Feet Camp (New Hampshire) will be held at Geneva Point Center, Moultonborough, NH.

Future Events

8/9 Lars and Carolyn Saxegaard Celebration of Life (Mercer Island, WA) ., 2–7 p.m. at the Mercer Island VFW Hall, 1836 72nd  Ave. SE, Mercer Island, WA 98040. Please bring a potluck dish to share, memories/photos, and your dancing shoes. There will be Scandinavian, English Country, and contra music and dancing. Hosted by Kristine Dorsett, (425) 442-0630, and Finn & Sharee Saxegaard.
